Brief Bio
I am currently a Junior Research Fellow in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
My research is centered on advancing sustainable artificial intelligence, with a focus on designing and developing energy-efficient AI systems. I work under the supervision of Prof. Niloy Ganguly and Prof. Saptarshi Ghosh. My work aims to establish methodologies and frameworks for measuring, analyzing, and reducing the energy footprint of AI models across their entire lifecycle, including training, fine-tuning, and inference.
At present, my research focuses on Chain-of-Thought compression and on understanding the complexities of large language model reasoning in non-English contexts.
